Sharp knives. Handmade gifts.

Oberedge runs two benches in the same shop: one puts a working edge back on the knives you actually use, the other laser-engraves metal, wood, and leather into gifts people keep.

Knife sharpening

Kitchen knives, pocket knives, and the blade you keep reaching for.

Laser engraving

Poker card guards, shadow-caster lanterns, and custom gifts.

From the sharpening bench

Bring us the knives you actually use.

A dull knife is extra work. We put a practical edge back on kitchen knives, pocket knives, and most household blades. Local to Peyton — drop-off by arrangement.

What we sharpen

  • Kitchen knives — chef’s, paring, bread, santoku
  • Pocket and EDC knives
  • Outdoor and hunting blades
  • Most household knives that are worth keeping

Serrated, ceramic, and heavily damaged blades: ask first. We’ll tell you honestly if it’s a good candidate.

How it works

  1. 1Send the sharpening form with what you have and whether you can drop off in Peyton.
  2. 2We confirm turnaround. Typical pace is a few days once the knives are here — not overnight, not a month.
  3. 3Pick them up sharp. No checkout on this site; we sort the details when you inquire.

The shop

Handmade in Peyton. Sold on Etsy. Custom when you need it.

We are a family workshop, not a catalog mill. Poker humor on metal. Halloween lanterns that actually cast a shadow. Coasters, boards, hats, and the odd gag gift when the laser is warm.
